The Club is open to over 50s in Udny Parish and new members are made to feel very welcome. Since the Tarves Friendship Club folded some of its members have joined which has swelled the number to around 45.
The Club has been running for over 55 years and is funded mainly by a Coffee Morning held in October each year and contributions from members via a donation box at meetings. At each meeting there is an hour of musical entertainment followed by tea and home bakes.
Meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month except January, July and August at 2 pm in Pitmedden Public Hall.
The summer bus outing is held at the beginning of June and Christmas Party at the beginning of December, both which are greatly enjoyed by the members.
